The Delamination Mill Fine is specially designed and constructed for the efficient and economical delamination of thin, lightweight composite waste such as printed circuit boards, stranded cables, copper and aluminium composite foils, but also anode and cathode foils with black mass from Li-ion batteries.
The shredded input material is sucked into the CFM mill from the top. Three levels of highly effective rotor tooling generate impact and shear forces on the feed material during the milling process, breaking down the composite materials along the phase boundaries and refining the non-ferrous metals into spherical particles.
Thanks to this property, maximum recovery rates and high purities of valuable and strategic raw materials such as copper, iron, etc. are achieved in the subsequent separation process.
The pioneering, highly efficient drive concept is a novelty in the recycling industry. The practically maintenance-free drive has up to 40% less energy loss than a drive with an IE3 motor, significantly reducing energy consumption and CO2 emission.
